The ER500A is fully FCC approved and will see to depths of up to 12 feet in dry soil. It is lightweight and all electronics are contained in this one unit. Output is USB and can run with Widows or Android software both provided at no additional cost. One of the advantages of the ER500A is if by chance the Windows tablet were to run out of power, simply plug in your Android phone and finish the work.

Included is an optical gear driven weather proof encoder. Encoder is machined from a solid piece of Delrin high temperature plastic and is very rugged. This encoder allows data to only be taken at the precise speed of your walk. I also will allow the display of a pinpointing line when moved in reverse. This is an incredible tool in pinpointing your target to a fraction of an inch.
